Description:
This work takes the form of a Venn diagram. The two rings, boots and sneakers, overlap in the middle forming what is called a “universal set.” The laces from the boots and shoes are re-laced, forming a daisy-chain.

A stack of folded clothing transitioning through several different bands of color, texture and pattern.

Masonite & lint roller tape

Description:
A lint roller is used to collect loose fibres from large clothing sculptures. Because of the way the clothing is stacked and compressed, the lint creates odd splotches and bands of color on the lint roller tape.

Description:
Every piece of clothing I own is neatly folded and rolled into a spiral, starting with the clothing that is worn on the inside (underwear, socks), and ending with the clothing that is worn on the outside (coats, hats).

Description:
An arc of stacked clothing with a network of belts providing lateral support.

The opening in the curved wall allows the average person to stand in the gap and peer inside. As they do so, their clothing acts as a bridge, transforming the arc into a circle.
