Clothing Sculpture: The Witness. This piece is modular, made from 16 units, each being 84 x 10 x 5 inches (H x W x D). I sourced the clothing from the local community during the pandemic and created the sculpture as a tribute to the people of New York City and in particular, Jackson Heights which was the epicenter of the Covid-19 Pandemic. This work was installed in public plazas throughout Queens, NY. The design of the piece is modular and flexible, allowing for multiple configurations, two of which are included here.
