This textile art wall-work was inspired by California’s legendary sunsets, filtered through advertising, memory and fantasy.
It’s composed entirely from the finished edges of over 300 garments.
Is it a rising or a setting sun?
Back in 2007 (yes, I have been a textile artist for awhile now :), I was saving the lint tape when I liked it, and mounting it to panels. Here is one that looks like a landscape of sorts. With the way the lint roller looked from this piece, I am wondering if I should start again.

Cradled wooden panel and second-hand clothing.
